I Don't Care Pretty Baby Just Take Me With U

This is a little Lovebird I made for my cousin's baby. Once I get some solid work done on my show I would like to pop out a couple more of these birdies. I also hope more babies happen in our family soon-from other people in my family of course.
The past few days have been nice. Ryan and I went to the farm for the night and were able to visit with my sisters, nieces, nephews and parents. There was a nutso storm that rolled in during supper which was a good excuse to go for a drive after to check the rain gauges on Dad's crops. For a farm girl I am not a very good farm girl, but I did learn something aboutharvesting lentils (Google lentil desiccation).
Tuesday morning we explored the Interpretative Centre in Herschel and then drove around various parts of Saskatchewan.

You can see part of the Sand Hills in the back. I experienced my first Saskatchewan ferry ride, drove on some roads that were hardly roads (so much construction), saw Lancer's largest chokecherry (Lancer was the hip happening town with the ferry as well), and then dined at a restaurant near the Gardiner Dam. Pretty pretty cool.
Oh and we saw a badger. I think it used it's face to give us the finger.
